As you can see, the website is a work in progress, however my simple hope for this website and blog is to create a space to share insights, mine and others, on the mysteries of grace and love that are found in the liminal spaces of our lives.  As a  certified spiritual director, I wanted a way to reach out to other seekers and offer a welcome respite to those who may disenfranchised and living on the margins, or perhaps be a conduit of hope for the doubters, skeptics and those who have lost faith in religion, government, and humanity.

As for me, I was born in Grafton, North Dakota.  I grew up in south Minneapolis, went to the seminary in Mt. Calvary, WI, and graduated from the University of Detroit.  I am a former Capuchin Franciscan Friar, a certified spiritual director, pastoral minister, prayer and worship leader, mentor and coach, certified Enneagram trainer, and husband.  I am a four on the Enneagram, INFJ on the Myers Briggs, a contemplative in action, photographer, and have endless other charisms that I have not yet discovered.  My spiritual journey has been deeply influenced by Franciscan, Benedictine, Carmelite, and Ignatian spirituality.  I do not have a PhD nor am I ordained.  I’ve never written a book and I don’t have any answers.  I live and have being because I am loved by God and so I chose to follow God’s call as a Spiritual Director.  No matter who we are, rich or poor, female or male, black or white, straight or gay, professor or janitor, Catholic or Muslim, famous or not so much, each of us has the very DNA of the Divine Presence within our being.

When all is said and done, I simply hope to live my life in the graces of liminal spaces and as a sign of hope and faith in the endless gifts of God’s mercy and love.  It would be an honor to journey with you on your spiritual journey.
